We earn an extra income from our homestead in a few different areas like raising beef cattle, chickens and other season activities. HOW TO START BLOGGING
Forget putting the puzzle pieces together yourself. Writing and blog takes a lot of learning and new information that can be very overwhelming. Trust me!
I highly recommend taking a blogging course that gives you everything you need to get started. And from my experience, Launch your Blog is the cheapest and most informative blogging course out there! From setting up the free theme that’s included, how to write posts, make money and more this course should be worth far more than it is.
This is a great course for the absolute beginner blogger. A great starting off point and super simple step by step guide to follow and apply to building your own blog. Victoria’s videos and demonstrations make getting started fun and exciting. She’s also super quick to reply to email’s when you feel stuck. Highly recommended.
Forget paying thousands of dollars for a course. YES that’s how much you can pay for something of this value. Isn’t that nuts?! I won’t tell you how much I’ve spent on bad resources…

This website is hosted by Siteground! They are been a great web hosting service! Quick to answer questions and happily solve problems. I highly recommend them.
THEME
I highly recommend the Genesis Midnight Theme that I use on my blog. This theme is included in the launch your blog course fyi and it’s very beginner user friendly! I haven’t had any trouble, limitations or problems with it!
DESIGN
Forget graphic design go ahead and use Canva! It’s an amazing free design program online that allows you to make images for all your needs! I personally use these canva templates! It wasn’t until I found Kara’s templates that I really started to up my blogging game for Pinterest, blog buttons and more!
