Simply fill the pot 2/3 full of soil. Place the calla lily bulb so it is lying horizontally, with the eyes facing upward. Cover the bulb loosely and give it enough water to just dampen the soil. Cover the roots loosely with your potting mixture, and water the plant well.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR CALLA LILIES
Calla lilies planted in pots or containers are usually watered when the first inch or two of the soil is dry to the touch, they should be watered deeply and throughly.
Brown foliage tips can indicate over watering. The calla lily normally doesn’t need fertilizer. Should you feel the need for better growth, I recommend using a regular all-purpose house plant fertilizer once a month.
